You can look at the chart 2 ways... volume or trend. bsd058 is describing how to look at it as a trend chart. I prefer to look at it like a volume chart. It says there are X number applications, X number require more info, X are complete and X have receipts out. (or are received? I've never been sure how to read the blue bar.)

Nope. I'm looking at it from a volume perspective. Trends show differences between months and try to predict the following month based upon recent of historical activity. I only used one month and therefore stated the volume of activity on I-130 apps for that month.

I don't see a line on a volume chart. Just 4 bars. When you described lines I immediately thought of the trend chart.

I see what you're saying now. I was utilizing the trend charts, but was merely stating the volumes expressed on it. Thanks.

Can't say I'm surprised. I knew they slowed down quite a bit after the announcement that they were going to send all of the stand alone I-130 petitions Aug 15th and later to NBC and field offices.
