Personal Check with Old Address

I'm getting my I-129F packet together. I was going to use a personal check for the fee, but I realized my checks have an old address on them from another state. Could this pose a problem?

I had the same problem, I lined through the old address and had wrote my new address--went through fine

I agree with Phil. Don't worry about it It's not a problem. We also sent the check with my husband's old address; but aside from that, I believe the check doesn't even have to be yours.

For example: If you don't have a bank account (for whatever reason), your mother/father/friend can make the check out of their account and they will accept it.

As long as the check itself is good, don't worry about it. What happens is when they receive the packet, they take the check out and forward the packet on to be sent to the proper filing center. Doesn't even have to be a check that YOU write, they just need a payment.

i sent mine with the old address. no worries, as long as the money is there, they dont care.
