My wife took the train. Never said anything about the walk. If you can find a decent hotel nearby, say around the halfway point, better yet. And plan for an overnight. Some times the visa is not available until the next day. And if she gets a woman named Elizabeth, hold your breath. Pleasant, but a royal pain.

we were thinking at least 2 nights

the traveling day, she is 11 hours away

and then the next day after the interview

so it would be like

Monday train there and bunk

Tuesday interview and bunk

Wednesday train back home

What do you think?

after 11 hours on the train

we worry that she would make mistakes at the interview and they would deny her

better I pay the extra day

no sense in Penny wise dollar foolish on this
