So... any new updates on anyone who got their AP approved recently? Anyone? Please share with people who are waiting so patiently to get ours.

We don't have any news to report -- no touches and no updates so far (yes, it's been 2 months since our AP was touched). Edited by am1996

8/11/06 Married.

8/15/06 Received marriage certificate.

8/16/06 Overnighted AOS and AP applications (no EAD, since I won't need it until next year).

8/17/06 Delivered at 12:44pm (Chicago lockbox).

8/24/06 All 3 checks cashed.

8/26/06 Received NOA. I485, I130 and I131 are online.

8/29/06 All 3 touched.

9/2/06 Biometrics appointment received.

9/5/06 I130 and I131 touched.

9/8/06 Biometrics completed.

9/8/06 I485 touched.

9/11/06 I485 touched.

11/14/06 AP approved.

11/15/06 AP touched.

11/20/06 AP received.

12/21/06 Confirmed that the name check has cleared.

1/5/07 I-765 (EAD) mailed out by certified mail (no rush).

1/10/07 I-765 delivered at 9:46am (Chicago lockbox).

1/16/07 Received NOA1 for I-765 (dated 1/10/07).

1/16/07 I-765 touched.

1/18/07 I-765 touched.

1/20/07 Biometrics scheduled for 1/31/07 (which I already completed on 9/8/06).

1/20/07 Interview scheduled for 3/20/07 at 8:00am.

1/20/07 I-765 touched (they're open on Saturdays?).

1/31/07 Biometrics for I-765 completed.

1/31/07 I-765 touched.

2/1/07 I-765 touched.

2/28/07 I-485 and I-130 touched.

3/1/07 I-485 and I-130 touched.

3/20/07 AOS interview. Approved.

Instead of eating chocolate, perhaps we should send a box to USCIS to get them to do something about our applications :) Although, under the circumstances, I would not be surprised if quite a few of us would rather send a big can of whoop a*s to those people for taking so freaking long :angry:

Well, the AP is an important issue to me, but I just fished the interview letter out of the mailbox, and it tremendously changes my travel plans anyway: December 20th. So, I will still wait for the AP, but I want to fly in the evening of the 20th till the 30th. I am still so excited, worried, upside down from the arrival of the letter (earlier than assumed, way earlier!)

Congratulations on the interview! Did you get a touch on your I-485 or did the interview invitation just show up out of the blue?

Wow... your interview letter just showed up Anna? Good news I hope? Hmmmm... maybe we will all be lucky and get our AP in the mail this week. I was checking mail today wishing it would just automatically show up but no luck. By the way, has anyone else able to logon to check online status at USCIS.gov?

Good news Chu ;) But of course being interviewed always troubles me, no matter if it is for a job or the Green Card! But it will be fine, the scaring just will let me and my hubbie prepare all the documents better and prevent us from acting uncarefully. ;)

I hope that the APs still will show up soon. The website was down until 10 minutes ago when I finally could sign on again!
