How i will get my SEVIS number after getting i.20.

when i will send all the requested documents to college then college send me i.20

after getting i.20 then how i apply for i.901 for getting SEVIS number?

I need to file this form online or by post?

When i will get SEVIS number then what is the next step

should i pay fee for ds.160.

And visa visa is exempt for pakistan.

Please advisa me as best u people can.

The SEVIS number is on the I-20. You need it to pay the SEVIS fee (that's form I-901 I believe).

Look at the website of your local US embassy or consulate, there should be a link to the payment

site for SEVIS.

I payed online, and got the receipt per mail, but that was a couple of years ago.

Look at the website of the local US embassy. These steps may vary by country. I had to

fill out DS160 online before I could make the appointment for the interview. But then I had to print

out the form and bring it to the interview. I payed the visa fee online and brought the receipt

to the interview. But again, those steps may vary. You need a passport picture for DS160.
