My AOS been reviewed and it passed. We sent the IV PACKET today and it will be at NVC on monday, hope and pray to get early november interview. Keep fingers crossed. Goodluck to all of us.

Called NVC and told us they received the papers but they haven't reviewed it yet. I asked about the scheduling of interviews and they told me Ocotber is full and closed already. And they will start for November already. I asked about the second week scheduling thing but she said as long as there are vacant slots, they fill it in. Hoping for case complete and interview date next week!

jut to clarify.. the case is not 'closed' it is 'completed'. that means that NVC has completed the work they need to do... The case is still open and will be worked on at the embassy/consulate.

Thank you for the clarification...I agree, the case is not closed until my husband is sitting at home in our parlor but for this thread's sake, we are just using the phrase case closed to mean it is completed at NVC. If the terminology is throwing anyone off, I will be glad to change the chart to read closed at NVC by each month. It's already posted at the top that way.

How many days nvc took for your packet IV to be accepted since it was delivered? Can I expect 5 days for them to review and accept my RFE?

I will contact the NVC today to see if there is any changes. I expect to hear that they will not be scheduling interviews until the second week of October...Just 2 short weeks away...Almost time to celebrate :dance: :dance: :dance:

Now that we all know what we are looking for it does seem the time is passing by at a quicker rate! Maybe it's just the...having someone to talk to that makes it go faster.
