One more day for my wife's interview. We are still hoping waiver is not needed for us. Wish us luck.

Wife passed the interview yesterday. No waiver was required as we previously worried about that before because she was denied of entry last Dec when she came to the States.

However consulate lost the marriage certificate, police certificate, and household certificate so she had to re-submit those docs later to get the VISA. Finally one year and

2 months visa journey is almost done for us. Thanks to God and this forum.

Hi all,

Posting this a bit late but we were APPROVED! Wife said the whole interview was very relaxed.

Finished the whole thing in three and a half months! We're so lucky (thanks to VJ I learned about the auto-expedite for out-of-country UCS, which we got with a bit of luck). Plus Bangkok is a very efficient consulate. They've always been good to us.

Passport arrived in the mail on Tuesday. We live here in Thailand together and will pack up and head to the US in January. Glad to have the visa out of the way.

Congrats and good luck to the rest of y'all.

Hi all and M+H Hawkins,

Thank you very much for all your support and M+H Hawkins, thanks a ton for this forum.

When I joined VJ, this is the forum that helped me a lot and encouraged me to face those times of stress of getting prepared for this whole drama of NVC to consulate to Interview and Visa in hand just for 2 loved ones to live together, Phew! its all over for me now. My hubby's interview was on the 23rd and got his visa on the 29th. He will arrive on Dec 6th.

For those waiting for this journey, be strong and all this shall pass just like everything else in our lives has passed by the Grace of God! Be blessed!
