Femiabike, did you contact the embassy to know they received the package on Monday?

We did not get another mail from NVC to let us know it has been sent to Lagos besides the original interview notification

Hope we are not missing some step here. ??

For IR1/CR1 There are no more steps once u get interview letter. Your cases get to embassy usually weeks after interview. Don't be so caught up in that tracking remember every case processed VJ and otherwise is going.

Just get medical and get ready, get ready get ready.

Praying for all my peeps here.

Oh ! That's awesome! I never had the idea of calling them directly and check if they had a closer date. :/

Now we bought our plane tickets already, and it's a giant fee to change the date. They scheduled us for November 30. Good luck!

Head's up to UK folks with November interviews - my husband got a call from the US Embassy in London this morning to tell him they were overbooked for November and to see if he would move his appointment back a few weeks. He explained that I was travelling to London to attend, so we were able to keep the same date, but now have a different appointment time. Just wanted to give people a head's up.

Yay!!!

I wish I would have known you could email the consulate and move up your interview. We have had our medical done for over a week, but its too late for that now with the interview being just 13 days away. and Especially with the Muslim holiday Eid Al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) coming up.

any chance they are still giving out November dates? Or its impossible?

If you get your medical done fast, you can contact your consulate and see if they have any interviews dates in November available after they recieve your file.

one week from today my wife has her interview :) I am definitely more nervous then her.
