For those people waiting for November Interview Dates

K-1 applicants don't submit papers to NVC. IR applicants do. K-1 applicants schedule their own interviews. IR applicants wait for the embassy to give them their capacity and NVC schedules interview dates based on capacity given to them by each embassy.

You can only guess which package in DHL is yours if you know when NVC sent the package over to the embassy. Otherwise, you could be tracking someone else's.

BTW, on the list I saw some people have case complete in July and Aug have not gotten their interview date yet. Why is that? How long do we expect to get an interview date nowadays?

NVC usually starts plugging in interview dates as they get them, however, they usually send out the notifications around the second week of the month, or about 11 more days). You could be looking at a November interview. I missed the first month and was scheduled the following month. Example. I was complete 8/6, missed the interview scheduling that month and had to wait for the September scheduling...which gave me a October interview.

In a few days they will begin scheduling NOVEMBER interview dates. If you do not get a notice at that time, you're probably look at December. It's all in the luck of the draw. There doesn't seem to be a system to when you get a date or at what time of the month you get a date. Depends on what is available with your embassy.

awesome PGUPTA! Thanks a lot for the update and bless your heart for giving the interview counts for each day. My PD is from back in 2010 because I was an LPR and just got my case upgraded to USC (F2A to IR1) and I have seen some posts stating consulate will clear our such cases soon. So I believe in the hope u just assured but i guess if I dont get it cleared now I can wait for another month (NOV interview) compared to the 2yrs fo wait I had to go through . Thanks again my friend. How do we know when they update the list? I mean its obvious when they update as 10/22 just has 1 candidate but do we check everyday or wait for another week or mid of next month?

Yep those were posted in last months forum, the October Interview.... There is also a chart there showing how things fell in place. Maybe I should copy the final and use it as an example here so you guys kinda know what to look for when the time comes.

The way it happened last month, NVC told several who called in scheduling would begin at the 1st of the month but notifications would start the second week. Winnie called NVC right when they gave her an interview, so she was the first to get hers (before her email)...I was the first to receive email notice...then they started falling like rain, one drop after another, increasing with speed. The majority were sent out in one day, the second day was pretty heavy (all afternoon deliveries also, nothing in the morning) and the third and forth days was a drop here and there as they filled in and notified the last few.

Let me go get that list and just insert it here. Everything grayed out are those who received their interviews in about 3 days time, we were just a little overwhelmed and it was AMAZING!!! So hold your hat, partner, this is going to be a wild dance in about 10-12 days!....
