Are they on VJ forum? I have been watching the forums the last month and have not seen any Vietnam cases got interview dates lately.

currently no IR or CR VJ members for VN have dates. Many here with cases cloased in July.. without dates... only 1 so far from july with an interview and it was last week...

nothing yet.. They approved our expedite and sent our case to HCMC today... so we'll see how that works out... been screwed over every step of the way so far...

there are very few reasons an expedite is granted at the consulate... Ours was because my MIL is the person taking care of my stepson while we wait for his visa and she has terminal cancer and can't take care of herself now, let alone my stepson. active duty military being deployed is one reason, but getting expedited does not mean that things will move faster IMO... we'll see. After months of waiting for a date, I decided to ask for an expedite to make things happen.. the way things have gone for us so far at HCMC I expect that it will just slow things down...

They are on vietditru and webtretho forums. I think we will get ours on 2nd friday of October if NVC really schedules date in mid of the month.

Our complete date was August 14 and we are also waiting for an interview date. I contact NVC and they say the are waiting for interview dates....I contact HCMC and they say they haven't received our case (CR1) from the NVC! Like a closed loop.....but from the sound of things on these boards it looks like we might hear something next week.

My Case CR-1 got completed on Sep 21 too. So it look like the appointment paper have been coming in slow lately but hopefully i'll get it after next week according to the old member of this board stating that schedule are being setup at the 1st and 2nd week of every month. Hope we'll get the appointment soon.

Keep inmindthat some of us are waiting since July... an expectation that everyone from July to now will get the date in the next couple of weeks is unrealistic.

NVC starts to assign interview dates yesterday for the month of November for countries like Philippine, India. I am wondering when it is for Vietnam. Please keep us posted !!!

On other immigration forums of Vietnam, people who get case complete in the begining and middle of August receiving their interview lettter today. I got case complete on 8/29 and still no interview date scheduled.

I know 2 people who got case complete on 8/15 getting their letter yesterday. And their interview date will be 11/23. Another one who got case complete on 8/7 will have interview on 11/26. I just called NVC today and they told me to wait until next Friday because they schedule on 2nd week of the month. That doesnt make sense since many people get their letter on 10/2.

I know none of this is making sense. Based on what I have seen, they schedule interviews by embassy. Since some cases from Vietnam already got their dates, I'm afraid that they are done scheduling for HCMC. Keep us posted if you hear anything.
