Good morning guys.. From the interview date, how long will it take for my fiancee to receive her k1 visa? Interview is October 5. Is it okay to purchase a ticket with a scheduled flight of October 26?

DON"T BUY A TICKET TILL VISA IN HAND....... unless you like drama and spending extra money. Too many things can and usually do happen before the issuance of a visa to delay the process. If you did get a ticket , make sure you can exchange it for a later date if you need to at least. Best of luck and patience.... easy for me to say though.

It will take from a few days to a few weeks for your fiancée to receive her visa, assuming everything goes according to plan at her interview.

It's OK to purchase a ticket if you are a gambling man.

Junbug, a timeline would help us a bit on advice also....... if you note in my signature, we waited for two sputum test results, each taking two months. Until the medical is passed I wouldn't think of doing it. Maybe, just maybe if I could afford to lose a grand would I purchase before the interview. You can get short notice tickets at a reasonable price.

Were already done with the medical exam. We did it early. So all were worried about is the interview.. So interview + wait for the visa to be mailed. Oct 5 interview then the wait for the visa in the mail. Right after the interview she will get the decision if shes approved right? and then just wait in the mail? Cause if that's the case, I would like to buy a ticket Oct 5 and fly my fiancee here 23 weeks after

I would listen to others as really you are not going to save yourself much money. I know you're excited but I am all for not jinxing yourself. Normally 23 days is plenty of time. However the it is when someone plans and spends money normally when everything goes wrong. Be humble and happy and do not take anything for granted. This is not my first rodeo.. I did this one time before and lost out on having a Vegas Wedding planned and her ticket bought sad to say.
