I definitely show support in pinning this, even though my case is far along from this, it is NOT fair and I think I would have just DIED if this happened to me. Kiya I remember reading in your first posts that you and I were almost along the same K1 timeline and being from Dallas you and I both. God bless you and fight it to the end. (L)

I could say alot more..but do not want to get into a political partisan war.. :protest:

Well, I am very disappointed...very. Captain Ewok says:

"For the pinned topics I prefer them to be general and apply to everyone regardless of country. Also if you could consider the existing pinned topics and whether we can add this info to one of those."

General? Add to an existing pinned topic? I even asked for this to be pinned in the waiver section. So...make it harder to find and keep up with because it is not general enough to pin? People need this information, how are they ever going to find or keep up with it? I can't believe it, I am shocked.

:(

This is truly sad news. When we got our 221g and it was sent back to the CIS I searched for I can't tell you how long on what I was suppose to do. I was truly lost. This was the first place I came to look...nothing. I searched high and low...nothing. Granted this may not be general, but then again neither is proving extreme hardship or the I-212 or the I-601. For that matter, the K-1 isn't general, nor the K-3. Each one of our immigration journeys are different, so that isn't a very valid reason.

This makes me wonder if the real reason is a "legal" reason. I am just very disappointed and depressed about all this. I am going to bed and will think of a solution...just need to rest on it a bit.

Kiya.

I am disappointed too. dayum .

why does everything require so much fighting. all you asked was for the ewok to extend some courtsy of pinning a topic that is very very

much of an issue.. instead of offering the support. he wanna say something so COLD. I said it once .. I said it a billion times

its not the only board. its the PEOPLE Here that make this board become! you know what. keep the petition to get the thread PINNED

one day he will wake up and understand what we are all facing.

since he dont have these issues what does he care.

Chin up.. sing your own song!!!!!! we are here to support you!

Kiya,

Just keep going. No one will ever understand what we are going through unless they have experienced it themselves and then there are those who have no compassion. I will fight this injustice until I am no longer of this earth.

I know change is possible. The same thing was going on in South Africa and it finally was taken care of. As we all know, anything in the government areana takes lots of time. Kudos for those who continue to help others even when they dont need the help themselves. My husband will be here soon and we will continue this fight against injustice together.

I met my DH in 2003 and at that time joined many groups who were going through the immigration process in Casa. No one was denied. The denials started in 2005 it seems. So what changed? What caused this to happen? Who is responsible? This is what we need to find out. I know I have done so much research since we were denied and it is my opinion that the only sure way to get your DH/DF a visa is to be in Moroc during the time of his interview. Why wait to go until after he is denied? Why take the chance?

I know of an attorney in Alabama who may take up our cause. He fights immigration issues in federal courts. I was also hoping we could perhaps get Ellis involved. It will take money for all this but if we do it as a group, it is plausable.

Hang in there!!!

Chiquita,

Please let us know more about this attorney. What kind of fee are we looking at? You know its really sad that we have to pay an attorney to keep in line the people that we pay their wages with our tax dollars!

You know everyone is giving out advice as to what to have your SO do at the time of the interview. Nothing is 100%. We all have our opinions and ideas. Some may even think that those of us who were denied missed something or had a reason for denial. That is NOT true. Our chances were that same as anyone elses. For some reason we were singled out, was it a random thing? Who knows, all I know is I prepared my husband so well. We had everything covered, yet what went wrong? Who can give us the answers? Let me tell you, there is no one who can give the answers. I have yet to know the reason the CO did what he did to us.

BEST ADVICE FOR THOSE STILL WAITING FOR AN INTERVIEW>>>>>>

BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kiya,

Have you thought about a Yahoo group or MSN group? It might actually draw more people than this site alone because they are searchable on Google/Yahoo, especially if you throw a lot of keywords in the description. It would allow you clearly to organize your research and provide a means of supporting one another. I wish I had something better to suggest :(

I am very disappointed this thread cannot be pinned. However, we can keep the thread alive by regularly posting to it. There is no reason for it to get buried.

Shokran for all the support...we will keep adding to this thread to keep it alive. A good sister and I are creating a yahoo group for this and should complete our plans tonight. Our spouses/fiances need the support too...it is very hard for them as well as us. I will post more on it in the next day. Insh'allah it will help us all.

Still updating the support tally! Shokran!!

I agree, if you just keep posting in the thread, maybe in the "waivers" section, at least people will be able to find it, even if it's not pinned.
