I agree we need to get this pinned.

I agree as my fiance got denied today and only given the reason as 221(g). The interviewer was mean and my fiance answered everything correctly, but the interviewer asked why he did not fall in love with a Moroccan woman. My fiance said it was horrible.. I posted a forum on the horrible exerience.. I have no idea what to do next.. I agree get this pinned!!!!!

I am still confused. Why is this forum here and not out on the main area? Are MENA ppl the only ones who get the Other box checked? I can find and read abt 221g and 212 under the Immigration and Nationality Act, but where in the INA is info abt Other box checked so I can read abt it?

This forum title is Replying to Returning Petitions to the US via 221g. So does the Other box fall into this category? I want to read abt the Other box info in the INA, where is it?

Ok it looks like I have finally made it to the right thread. I posted this feed this morning. Now I think that I am in a state of shock. I have faxed my Senator. I have pulled up form after form. My fiance is still on the train to home and I am stuck in limbo.

Petitions Returned to the United States

More and more this is how Morocco is handling visa petitions, and it does not matter the amount of proof of relationship you provide. We need a central place to review/share extremely important information to help ourselves and others going through this issue. Possibly even prevent this from happening to others in the future.

I will gladly create a legible, credible, and searchable compilation of all immigration guidelines surrounding petition return/revocation, research, etc. if VJ would commit to pinning this issue for us. Even if it is only in the ME/NA forum...PIN IT PLEASE?????

My filed I-130 in 2007 and it was approved at the embassy stage in US embassy, Nigeria where I was interviewed the CO gave me 221g to bring more evidence after submitting more evidence, the CO said the our visa is for immigration process and the case was returned in Oct 2008. After receiving NOIR the case was denied and was asked to appealed and the appealed was denied too and she said, a documents was send to her after the appeal was denied and she is sending a documents for me to sign and return back to her? Which documents do you think the USCIS need me to sign? What do you think we can do after the appeal was denied?

My wife told me that her lawyer said we should a get a divorce letter, so that the lawyer can file another means for me to get into the US, she said, the lawyer promised that I will get to the US in 6months. Is it true?

If anyone is similar with the case or have someone that have similar case to shield a light to my case.

To be perfectly honest I have no idea what your next step is. But one thing I know for sure that IF there is a way for you to still come you will need to have better evidence than you gave them with the NOIR. Your case has been marked as fraud, and you will for sure have to be able to overcome this before they will ever even consider giving you a visa.

I don't think enough information has been provided for anyone to try to tell you what your next step should be.

Not every denial can be apealed, the denial letter will state so if this is an option. If your NOIR/NOID was not successfully rebutted, and the petition was subsequently denied, and an appeal was denied then my only suggestion would be to hire a good immigration lawyer who specializes in denied petitions.

No lawyer should be 'promising' a visa in any certain amount of time with ANY case. There are way to many viariables at play, and every case is different. Alot depends on why the petition was finally denied in the first place.

This makes absolutely no sense to me, and if this is something her lawyer really has suggested, I would find another lawyer who actually specializes in denied petitions. Once they understand the full details of your case, they're going to be in a better position to advise you of your legal options at this point in time.
