I'm not sure what pinning is, but all I know is that my case has been returned for further review since October, 2006...I have been to field offices, called so many times I think I have spoken to every person working in all call centers and still nothing...Can anyone PLEASE help me?

"pinning a thread" is an action done only by ewok, also known as the vj site administrator. moderators and other titles (scout, organizer, etc) within vj are unable to perform this function. a pinned thread appears always at the top of the forum, thus relieving the user from having to search for it. threads are pinned on request but ewok does limit the amount of pinned threads to 3 in this forum from what i've seen in the recent past. a thread may be unpinned by ewok due to lack of posting in it also.

yes we can help you.

what have you heard since your case was returned?

call centers are out sourced so no help there.

when i ask they tell me the operators don't tell that much ! and if we go to get information they start just to muck us and they are just ready to show their excuses for why they delay ! just today i got a notification from www.uscis.gov that they have some reasons to daly the notification and so far it doesn't help anyway , Thanks Chiqueta and anybody try's to help and that help should be appriciated too much .

I agree! This is information that could be... and will be... and already is much needed for not only those of us going through Morocco... but other countries as well!

:help:

Lynne

I support this because my husband and I are currently going through this same situation. We were married in Amman on July 16, 2006 and August 11, 2006 filed I-130. Everything was approved and his interview date was August 7, 2007. Approved. But before visa could be issued needed clearance from Jordan and then needed passport. Said case is under mandatory administrative processing and this could take an average of three months. Asked for passport again and returned passport again with letter saying that case was reviewed and that it needs more processing and this will take an additional three months. How much longer will this go on?

Sadly waiting, your case is in AP, not returned or denied.

I hate to say it but you are going through the same AP/AR hell as a lot of people in this forum but fortunately not the same situation as this thread...

Sara is right, it sounds like yours is the typical AP/AR. This is frustrating, but be grateful you don't have a returned petition. My husband didn't get his visa for 15 months after his initial interview, and this is considered fairly fast. Hopefully yours will go quickly.

what did you say in your e mail to the consulate? sending an e mail to the embasy will do nothing. actually sending one to casa wont either but it does help to blow off steam. the same can be said of sending e mails to anyone including Pres Bush.

instead of sending an e mail to your reps---call them and get them on your case. you will have to fax a release for them to get info for you from casa. that is pretty much all they can do for you but at least you will have an answer as to WHY you were denied. most couples who are denied out of casa is "due to the validity of the relationship". could this be the reason for yours as well?

dont worry---if it was it will be quite easy to over come. this happened to us in 05 and has happened to many couples---you are not ALONE. not that it makes you feel any better but please know you will one day get a visa for your loved one.

first---what service center did you file with? that is important as you will later learn. have you read the pinned section about case being returned? if not go and read it. skip the stuff that is not related to you but absorb the stuff that does relate.

did you read the letter your fiance received form the consulate to make sure your case was really returned and not sent for security checks? just wanting to make sure that your case was really sent back. all applicants get the 221 g letter but for 2 different reasons.

i sent you a personal message.
