Hi-

As a nurse I would say no not at all... That is normal blood pressure. I doubt that is the reason of the delay...It could just be its taking some time...

thnx for that reply..so u mean im not yet at risk of a highblood pressure?i've been doing jogging for 3 weeks for an hour daily now,and also eating lots of fruits and vegetables..i lost 10pounds..so do u think i dont need any medication as long as i continue doing thiss stuff?coz my medical would be this coming sept 24 and im afraid that could affect my result..thnx

Worrying will just elevate your blood pressure. Your numbers are not in the range for medication, but changing certain eating habits (salt intake) will help to keep it in check. Some people get (white coat syndrome) in which the patient only has elevated numbers when facing a medical professional.

Relax, you will be fine in my opinion.

BP is not considered high enough for medicine unless it reaches 140-90 or above depending on age (older will get put on meds first at 140-90 plus with younger people just told to watch diet and exercise).. I would say many have a 130-90 or near there at interview time only due to the stresses your going through. You're doing the right things by exercising...

I agree With terri= don't stress yourself too much that can elevate it as well. Don't go out of your way to change your workout schedule significantly... Or eating habits... Just be healthy but don't go overboard....I would recomend not evening thinking about it... Best of luck and keep us informed...
