I don't understand it.

California Service Center is already approving June NOA2's..... and Vermont is still stuck on March.

What the hell is taking them so long? Why are they so slow? I can't find any answers anywhere on google........

No new information as of September, 2012

It is very frustrating! I've noticed that they just approved most of the March's application so that means we have to wait awhile. I am jealous of the ones that filed through CSC and got their approval :(

It's really hard but you just have to be patient. I remember when I was filing that the situation was reversed with CSC being really behind. It'll probably switch again. Hopefully the backlog of petitions coming their way will get some fire started underneath them. I doubt it though. Feels like they're all taking too many coffee breaks. :P

I know it is hard to be patient, but a necessary skill when dealing with any government process. The service centers will at one time or another slow down to lag behind the others, usually this only lasts a few months before they are back up to speed. Use this time to be gathering documents and other evidence needed for the next phase and the time will pass a little faster! Best Wishes and Good Luck.

CSC is not always fast as I have just passed 7 months with no NOA2. I have a service request that hits 30 days tomorrow along with a congressional inquiry and yet here I sit.

im so sorry res that is HORRIBLE!!!! What is your next step? I don't see what else you can do, Im so frustrated for you!!!!

As far as vermont... My whole thing was I never understood why VSC applications couldn't be transferred to CSC due to being painfully behind schedule!! I always joke to myself that pretty soon CSC is going to start approving petitions not even sent in yet! LOL!!! .... with that being said, sadly I am approaching 5 months pretty soon and like everyone else.. i hear nada!...

Sorry to be a downer, but they have not even touched March filers. There are many of us waiting. Monday for me will be day 200. I've had my congresswoman inquire twice, I had a service request, nothing.

There's still a few of us hanging on from Feb as well. Anymore it feels like being approved and having my fiancé here is just a pipe dream, I'm on the verge of giving up hope and wondering if we shouldn't try this the other way around with me going to England instead. At 230+ days this has been a soul crushing experience.

In my opinion by looking at some of the data it appears the RFE adds about another month or month and a half in Vermont...mad.gif If u responded one day short of a month ago id assume ud finally get the NOA2 in the beg. of October. If not the first week Id be calling and harassing their a$$!!! Its sickening how long vermont is taking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And please don't give up! I have occasionally thought the same thing you have (relocating) but you have made it this far so you 2 can do it! As I tell my fiancé either way ONE of us is moving in 2012.. HIM or I... If he is for some reason denied I am out of here!!

That's how I feel. ONE of us will move, because there is no option of being without him. However, this waiting is making me feel ill. I've called USCIS a few times since sending in the RFE, but I hear the same thing every single time so it seems there's no point in calling again as they have sworn to me they won't do anything till 60 days have passed. I hate it. 12:33pm and even though the day is only half over I feel confident that we will not be approved today. Then you see some people getting their RFEs approved after one week. It makes me want to curse a blue streak! Why did it take US so long to get an RFE?! Why is it taking so long to get OUR RFE approved? What the ^@% is going on?! I think there's only one other person on VJ from my date or being still waiting. What the heck?! -breathing breathing breathing- Sorry! Rant got away from me!

U have every right to rant rave and SCREAM!!!! I would be so extremely furious as well. I'm already annoyed and i'm a few days shy of 5 months. I look at it as it may suck terribly but it gives me time to get other stuff together. Get the house ready, Save as much money possible, work on the next step etc. I know your time is coming soon. I guess all you can do now is wait and get everything else in order and when he does arrive it will be a smooth transition for him because of all your hard work and planning!!! i really give anyone going through this process so much credit. hang in there i think you will hear something soon... i know that doesn't help but by looking at most of the other RFE situations your timeframe is nearing its end.

I'd feel better if I hadn't been hearing "It'll come any day now" for THREE MONTHS. Really though, I don't know what any of us would do without VJ. The support you get from people on here is amazing, so thank you. I can't imagine what it would be like going through this completely in the dark with no one to even discuss it with. There's so much we learn from each other on here I feel like being without this would feel like a huge handicap and I would be freaking out even more than I am right now, and right now I'm in tears. Yes, I am furious. I want my fiance. I have nightmares about loosing him every night and feeling heartbroken (though I know he would never leave me) and I know it's because of all this going on right now with VSC. I am not even sure at this point if the joy of an approval would overshadow all of the heart ache of going through this. Everyone says when you get approved the waiting doesn't matter anymore, how you don't even think about it... I just don't see how that's possible. I have never wanted to rage, cry, scream, fight, and give up so much all at once. Not that I would EVER give up on Nick, just this process... and of course, I wouldn't give up on this either because of him. Sometimes though, it's hard to continue on with it.
