Hi there, I hope you can answer some questions i have about the requirements before the interview. My bro is scheduled for a tourist visa interview this coming oct 2nd.

we are confused because he already filled out ds forms online and also scheduled his appointment online. What we are not sure of though, is the confirmation appointment he should

bring with him on the day ofhis interview. Is that documentation different from the DS forms? and which one hasthe barcode? and how or what webpagecan he go, fill out and print? TIA

I can't be sure that the Embassy web site for you is the same as London is for me, but I went and printed the interview confirmation letter and receipt by going to the London embassy web site where I had originally found the visa info. Here's the London emabassy link just in case it sparks something for you there...http://london.usembassy.gov/interview.html

then the link in the top right called (helpfully) "Download the appointment confirmation letter and fee receipt. " takes you to the embassy-specific portal where you need to type in your passport number and date of birth, then it shows you the two forms to be printed. Each one has a bar code by the way.

Good luck

The CEAC will be sent through his e-mail. He just need to print it because the people in charge outside USEM will be looking for it together with his passport. The CEAC is the one which has a barcode. After DS 160 being submitted and after setting an appointment, he will receive the CEAC and appointment schedule. Both should be printed, but the most important one is the CEAC. God bless

I hope this helps:-)
