I'm having one of THOSE mornings where I'm generally ticked off and disgusted about Wes' greencard (or maybe I should say the lack thereof).

Probably precipitated by the fact that I did my morning case status check and I got ANOTHER message that the password is about to expire.

We've been stuck in this process so long I can't even remember how many times we've had to renew the password.

And just think - I once heard a tip that a password renewal on an account somehow triggered USCIS to check the file and see why it had been lying about that long. Guess that's just an urban legend.

Thinking about you and Wes...

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Hang in there I know it is tough and it gets old everyone telling you this but I continue to remember you and Wes in my thoughts and prayers. Hope that this is finished soon. (F)

After having so many up’s and down’s with this process I’m still in shock it $hit me out the other end so easily the other day  . I have to admit I was expecting a longer wait and more complications in the end. I almost feel bad I got such an easy interview while there are so many still waiting on a final approval due to name checks. :(

I too just changed the password on our account and noticed that my EAD case has been touched for the third time since they approved it. I think it’s been touched twice in the past month alone even though I have the card? That doesn’t make much sense?

I’m sure they can’t keep the pair of you waiting too much longer? :D

I've been trying to find others, but any timelines I find were finished before then, some filed afterwards. I know there has been some delay....but this is gone beyond a joke. According to my last enquiry, my case is still at the NBC, not even sent to NO yet! They sent me a notice recently telling me my interview had been canceled, but one had never been scheduled in the first place.

Like you, if I sit and think about it for long enough, I get soooo frustrated. I really should stop coming into this forum....stay in off topic, LOL!

Seriously though, I think it's time to get in touch with a Senator or something. My husband served 6 years, went on tour twice for his country, now they don't want to know him!

Are there many others in your situation? I've seen the post but haven't read it all. Any idea of a timeline going by others approvals?

Oh my word yes.....there are loads of us on VJ who are in the same boat. There's a huge thread about it in this forum!

Timeline data seems irrelevant....it's all over the place.

My district office tells me they have over 100 files just like ours..........
