thanks for your reply guys! I told her about the whole plan and she is concerned about the wait, we now decided that she comes to africa and we go to a marriage registry and sign the register, then she can file for me as a spouse, but our concern is that we just met in feb of this year....would that affect anything????

In theory, that is just fine, because you don't have a requirement to have met for a certain length of time; however, given that some consulates in Africa are considered to be high on fraud cases, you may want to visit the regional forum and speak to other folks from your country. They will be able to provide the best advise.

If you complete your profile, with the country of the beneficiary (you), a flag like the one under my name will appear. While this may seem trivial, it will help others assist you with your questions. Many things are country/consulate specific.

I think large issue is what part of Africa?

Nigeria is the HARDEST consulate ever, so that will matter

hey guys, thanks so much for your replies.................wedding date has been fixed for april 5th 2013, then we can start the CR/IR procedure, i'm having cold feet, scared as ever.... she is even more calm than I am.

i"ll create a timeline now so I see how it works...
