Hmmm, wasn't sure where to post this....

Does anyone else think that the approval rate through Casa has been going way down? I fear they may at some point start denying family-based visas altogether. Not to alarm anyone, but it seems like a huge problem!

Gosh I hope not!! I was actually hoping they would keep with the Ramadan festivities and hand them out like candy. :jest: I actually received an email reply to a question in less than 4 hours, so my faith was building...please oh please don't stop me now... :crying:

I hope not too! Maybe it's just that there are a lot more mebers nowadays going through Casa, so we hear of denials more often. Seems the denials stick in my head more than the approvals. :(

Jess,

We're going to Hawaii. We got super cheap tickets from priceline and managed to exchange my parents' timeshare in Florida for a week on Oahu, so we're doing it on the cheap. We're so excited, but I have a fear of flying, so I'm already getting kind of anxious....

I haven't touched alcohol in almost 3 years now and I haven't missed it at all. You'll be amazed how conscious you become of how big a part it plays socially in American society. It cracks me up how many have asked me when I tell them I don't drink, "Oh, I'm sorry. Are you alcoholic?"

Where I live it is assumed that you don't drink! That is funny....are you an alcoholic?

I have noticed it, and it makes me sick to my stomach. I hope this isn't scaring everyone going through Morocco....this just really sucks to see it all over again.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'
