Hi all,

I'm so glad I found out about this website. I used to browse before I actually decided to join. Anyway, I'm 22 years old (yes I'm a young one lol) and I've been with my husband since I was 16 years old being that I've been vacationing in JA since I was a baby. Long story short, we got married down there in December 2011 and I filed the 1-130 in July 2102. I got a letter in the mail saying they received it and it's being reviewed. How long does it really take them to review and to ask me for more evidence? I've already sent some evidence but I know they're going to ask for an affidavit of support which my mom will be signing. I'm getting worried.

Thanks in advance

no one know how long each step of the process will last. you can expect everything to be completed within a 8-12 months period from filing to actual visa in hand. good luck on your VJ and do not worry., just wait for them to process your docs and if they need anything, they will contact you

Thanks so much :) Just out of curiosity, What do they usually ask during the interview? I was just wondering although I'm far away from that step.
