I want to know if my case is going in a good direction so please.

Around June i applied for a U-Visa so i want to know if my time process is going well.

This is what my case is on the USCIS PAGE:

Initial Review

On June 12, 2012, we received this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION and request that the filing fee be waived. The filing fee has been waived and we have mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. This case is being processed at our Intake Processing Center. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800.

-Then on June 21 I got a NOA Form I797c For my biometrics on July 18 2012.

-I went got them done really fast.(JUL 18)

- So now my questions is how long more till i get a respond?

- Has it been to long already?

Thanks for your help.

U visas are pretty uncommon here so I'm not sure anyone will know how long they normally take, but maybe someone else will have experience.

Typically getting your EAD doesn't have anything to do with whether your case is going to be approved or how long it'll take - if you apply for it when you have a case pending you will generally be issued it within a couple of months, if your case is later denied it will simply be cancelled.

The whole process took 6 months for the principal applicant and 11 months for derivate.

After applying, they sent the receipt within a couple of months and 5 months later, I got the biometrics.

2 weeks after biometrics was done, I got the approval notice.
