Hi.

Can the US citizen (who is the one filing the I-130 petition) move during the process? The I-130 asks for an address of the petitioner but what if he/she moves between NOA1 and NOA2 for instance?

If that is possible, how does one go about doing that, in terms of letting the USCIS know and hopefully not slow down the process doing so?

Hope you can help

Go to the USCIS website, it explains how to notify USCIS of your address change.

It does not affect the process. But make sure you notify USCIS as soon as you move to a new location.

Method for reporting a move Trust but verify!! Make sure that you have a screen shot or e receipt of the request. This should be peace of mind and keep the paper trail going incase of a mistake on USCIS's part. We did part one but not part two.....we called it in but didn't submit enotification and that wasn't good enough. It cost us $450 for a new green card since the original was sent to an old address and taken from the mail box 3 months after I had moved. We had no proof it was their mistake so we ate the cost. Expensive lesson........
