How can I have someone with my mom to go with her in her interview in Manila

I am not filing for my mom form I-130 yet but I have a couple questions:-)I am a U.S. Citizen already. My mom cannot speak english or tagalog, she can only speak visayan language in which the medical and interview in Manila it needs who can understand english and tagalog. Is it possible my mom can bring someone with her in her interview and medical examination to assist her? Is it possible a friend or a relatives to go with her?

When I file for her, do I need to request a form or something for someone to accommodate her and how? There is a policy in Manila either medical examination or interview, only the applicant's name can enter inside the building.

What should I do? Please help and thanks all!!!!

Embassy personnel are available to provide assistance at each stage. Applicants who require interpreters must inform the interviewing officer on the day of their interview. There is no need to bring a relative or a friend to act as an interpreter as the Embassy can provide language assistance when an applicant requests for it.

Important note: American citizens and US Legal Permanent Residents are not allowed to accompany nonimmigrant visa applicants to the interviewing area.

Uhmm I just got a little confused on the last part. I thought USC are allowed to accompany the applicants in the interview area? Or was that only for K1?

In the medical there is no problem if your mom has someone with her cause the guard will allow it but at the embassy, I think it is not allowed unless you are under K1 category..Don't worry your mom can request an interpreter before the interview starts...Good luck to your moms Journey!
