virtual relationship is not enough, you need to show them some visits to increase your chance to have your visa issued, USCIS most of the time approve the petitions (K1,CR1), the problem is the US Consulate. It's better if you can prove you visit him/her a few times during the relationship.

yes i know this thing! we have those passport photocopies and stamps already.. boarding passes.. itineraries... was just asking about the other proof of ongoing relationship so i need those emails.. mails... skype call logs and so on and so forth!!!

Chat logs show proof that you have known each other for longer than 2 days and that the relationship is a sham.

I printed off screenshots of my skype conversations with her. I did 1-2 a month. That shows that we have been in constant contact with each other and that our relationship is legit.

I personally do not think that online chat logs make your relationship a sham. Skype, Yahoo, MSN, Oovoo etc.... are all considered secondary evidence and you will need something more to submit as proof than chat logs and chat records no matter who you talk through online. Screen shots are good but can also be created easily if you have experience with Photoshop.

Documentation of phone records from a reliable source with more than 2 minute calls each day, personal letters with postmarks, airline tickets, passport stamps, pictures of you together that are date stamped, western union money transfers, joint accounts such as bank or credit cards, insurance policies etc... will be considered before chat logs and records.

Im just confused on how to do with YM chatlogs as proof of ongoing relationship.

should i go to ym conversations and just print screen or should i transfer the chat history to Microsoft Word?

hope to hear from someone who have done this before and give me some advice..

Thanks!!!

Do not transfer your chat logs to word, use the screen shots but be sure to include other proof along with them.

what if our pictures dnt have time stamps on them? all our pics dnt have time stamps on them.. we do have the letters though, airline tickets and boarding passes, passport stamps, western union receipts.. we dnt have joint bank accounts or credit cards since we are not married yet...

Send in what you have and if the pictures dont have date stamps them paste them to a page and describe when and where. I went on Walgreens website and made a collage and labeled it Trip to Morocco in 2008 etc... so you can get creative. I don't have joint banking accounts either but I was able to add my husband on my auto insurance as a excluded driver and added him to my credit cards as an approved user and they even sent me a cards in his name. There is no magic number of chats or evidence it is all up to the USCIS person reviewing it to decide if you have enough. Just organize it really well and let the petition tell your story! Best of luck!!

We printed a couple emails we sent back and forth. That was enough. Though maybe it also helped that when we filed for K-1 we were living together. Dunno...

Anyway good luck!
