Im preparing documents to file for i-751 for my spouse. Im wondering if the two support letters from friends/family have to be notarized or not? Also can a support letter be from a family member? What about the photocopies of children from the marriage…do they have to be notarized as well?

Thanks in advance.

No need to notarize(although if you want peace of mind most banks will do it free for customers). There are also nice example letters in the example forms section at the top.

Yes, no need to get it notarized.

It must contain the full details of the persons executing the affidavit - full name, full address, date and place of birth, relationship to either of you, and full details explaing how the person acquired his/ her knowledge.
