I don't phrase my remarks like that, because I don't care to make sweeping generalizations about all Saudis being misogynists. Saudi Arabia has a long way to go with women's rights, but not all Saudis "treat their women" in a despicable manner.

Just foreign workers, especially domestic help. There are a lot of sad stories of how Filipino domestic workers have been treated, and the way the Saudi government has handled the cases.

Yes I agree, there have been awful cases of abuse of foreign workers as well as of Saudi women. I am just saying that I don't make generalizations about "how Saudis treat their women."

Fair enough. Those are the stories that get told over and over, and if that was all that happened, few foreign workers would be willing to risk their lives for a decent paying job. Enough have to make it back alive, unscathed, and well paid, to make the risk worth the effort.
