Hi

What is SSA-1099?

It's a federal income tax return?

Can I attached with I-864 in stead of W2 because my husband don't have any W2 and he is on SSI

What is the different between SSI and SSA

Thank you :help:

1099 = statement from SSA about Social Security bennefits paid for the tax year

NO it is not a Federal Tax return

Yes a 1099 can be used inplace of a W2

SSI = Social Security Income

SSA = Social Security Administration

SSI = Social Security Income

Supplemental Security Income is SSI. SSA has two programs Title II and Title XVI. SSI is Title XVI, which is covered under Title XVI of the Social Security Act. Retirement, Survivor and Social Security Disablility benefits are Title II.
