I hope they are kind towards us . as am tired of being away from my husband. i have read alot through search engines, some says it speed up the petition which makes me happy. and some says it delays it because it will requires interview and before they give you interview date, i mean the petitioner , it may even be up to 180 days. i am so sad about this. but i just hope is not like this. you can also type any question on www.trackitt.com i got it on google. and some answers are good and some are bad. i am really praying for the good part not the bad one

this is not going to require you to do an interview. I got in touch with a friend who has a friend who works in a USCIS office in NY she said that this is normal processing and they are balancing workloads because of a large amount of petitions recieved last month. I was worried too but now I feel much better. Lets stay in touch and if you hear anything let me know and I will do the same :)

This is one of those things in life that makes you go Hhhhhhhmmmmm!!!

My case to was ftransferred to Missouri from California. But it seems it due to over load just as mentioned ealier through ths post! My thing is, why can't the USCIS, just type simple words of the reason and no be vague as to say because of the juridiction! Just how they put NOTICE OF TRANSFER can't they put TOO MANY APPLICANTS IN OUR OFFICE and then everyone would know the reason and not worry!!!!!

Most of us are threading water with the whole process and then we get hit with a curve ball! Ggggeeezzz!!

Things that make you go Hmmmmmm

2/7/13 - Received email/text that my I130 was approved.

2/14/13 - Received official NOA2 approval notice via mail.

3/21/13 - Called NVC to get Case Number. Case was input in the morning. They gave me my case number.

I was also transferred from CSC to NBC although it sounds like many people have been transferred I am still worried that it will take longer to process. NBC does not normally process I130s so there is no way for me to find out the normal processing time. Does anyone have that info?

Agreed. I, too, am wondering if our cases were transferred to NBC for normal processing, how long does the NBC take...hopefully less than what the other centers take. That would be a good note for us :)

Mina, our case was sent to Missouri too. How do you check the status of your case?

If you have your receipt number (should be on your NOA1), you can go to the uscis.gov website and put it into "my case status" and check the update. But usually it's vague and doesn't help much...but it gives you a little bit of info.
