step kids will go for their medical exam in jamaica monday morning. and then their interview is coming up early october. so do you guys think i should really just make copies for them to take with them of every document for this one year long process? or should i just send them with the requirements. I got school records with the father's name on them. I want those to stick out so I was thinking i wouldnt send that with all the other stuff they already have. I have herd of the immigration officer not even looking at what you bring and sending you out with a blue slip. what is a blue slip. i know it is not approval, it's a hold up right?

They should bring a copy of everything per child that applies to your case, in addition to the other requirements that they are to have at the interview. Better safe than sorry. Something may have been lost in the process.

I cannot speak on what the blue slip actually means, but what I read from previous threads, is that Consulate needed something additional in order to finalize the approval of the visa.
