Just got a notice of potential interview waiver case. In the letter it tells you that you have to wait another 6 months. But I've seen people been approved within a week or getting a letter for a interview. All in all only tells you that your in the system

Usually it takes longer if you have the waiver. At least thats what I read before. But you never know.... I haven't heard anything about my interview either (they received my aos package on 12 Aug). Good luck!

hey guys - I had a letter a month ago saying that i was a potential interview waiver case, and just today received the NOA2 for my AOS :D "welcome to the united states!" so it says my petition for permanent residency was approved, and my new permanent resident card should arrive in the next couple of weeks. so if you've just had that letter, hopefully youre just one short month away! im so excited that now we may be able to take a trip outside of the states, and I dont feel like i would be stuck here if something were to happen suddenly back home.

that was only 5 short months for me since I arrived! much faster than I expected. good luck everyone and merry christmas to all the other newlyweds!
