All the happiness to you! Thanks for the wishes. I guess I am one of the few left of the September bunch. My interview is coming soon, though, and hopefully I will meet my fiance in two weeks!

Have a wonderful new life in the States.

Congratulations to everyone who has got their K-1 visa and good luck to those with interviews coming up.

My case was transferred from London to Tokyo on May 29th, and I sent of the documents requested- photocopies of my passport, a photo of me, a photocopy of my alien registration card, my birth certificate etc. It may take upto two months before I get asked to take my medical and can set up an interview. Luckily I am busy with work, so do not have much time to get frustrated! I might be the last of this group to get my visa!

almost my first week in the states. So clad the waiting is over. Have to say after its done we didn't complain about it. took us 9 months from start to finish. And its true what they say about the noa2. After you get it everything goes quickly.

Landed june 23 in Boston and i was in my fiancee's arms 25 minutes later. imigration took me like 5 minutes. He only took my fingerprints opened the envelope and started typing and explaining what going to happen. He was very friendly and welcomed me to the states. Even my fiancee was amazed how quickly it went.

My first days in the US too. Still can't believe I am here and we made it through the first part of the long process. I feel happy and relieved, soooo good!

I had an almost 2-day long journey from Budapest to Miami. I had my connection to Miami from Berlin where I had to wait 16(!!!) hours. It was long and painful... Then I arrived to Miami at around 4:30 pm. I went through the passport checking pretty fast however there were many tourists and planes landing at the same time. Then I was asked to wait in a corridor and was escorted to a waiting room where I spent 2 hrs before they called me. The officer was nice, friendly and I think he saw the pain of traveling on my face and told me that I should not worry, this is almost the end of my long journey. We went to an 'interrogation' room where he looked at my papers and gave me the I-94 form. He asked a couple of questions similar to the ones the consular asked me at my interview in May.

When we finished, he escorted me to the entrance and guided me where I will find my luggage at the airport.

I had my interview in London yesterday and we were approved :) not an altogether smooth day - forgot about the phone charger in my bag so was subsequently thrown out at security and had to queue again having dumped the charger in a bush. The ticket with my number on it stated that I arrived in the hall at 9.21am and I finally left at 1.05pm. So much for their "you can expect to be at the embassy for 2-3 hours"!! But I'm not complaining because I'm moving to the states in 10 days!!! Wooohoooo
