Definitely start a new one. Because it comes with a barcode it will be different when you fill it out again - so print two copies of the new one and throw away the old one. Don't worry I went through like 5 versions of mine as I kept making mistakes!

yea it came out with a barcode...just dat i didnt duplicate the form by pressing back button after the form with a barcode came up...does d duplicate come with same backcode ..if it doesnt come with any backcode...i suggest i just fill out a new form and print it with pressing continue so it wont give me a different backcode from d 1st ...thanks...waiting for ur response

After you have filled out the form and clicked "continue" to obtain a printable format with a unique barcode, You just print the thing in two copies! In your print settings. You do not go back, you do not duplicate anything.

ok den..since i av a printable form dat has a barcode..i can make another copy of it instead of printing again...since i have one already....

My fellow September filers :) I'm here to tell you everything went great today dancin5hr.gif If it wasn't for the long waiting, it would be a very nice experience ;)

I have no idea why I brought all these proofs of the ongoing relationship or letters of intent to marry! I was never asked to show any of these. All they asked of me were: passport, birth certificate, police clearance, I-134 Affidavit of support, forms DS 156 (x2) and DS 156K, 2 photos.

Then, when my time came after a long long wait, the consul (who was a young, pretty, nice and smiling woman) asked me regular questions that were very predictable (about how we met, when we got engaged, his visits to my country, my visits to the US; Did he meet my family? Did you meet his family? What does he do? What would you like to do in the US?, etc. etc.). She asked me many questions, but they were standard questions I would imagine. Nothing scary. In the end she told me everything's correct and fine. She congratulated me and wished good luck :)

I entered the Embassy at 7:55 am, went through security check and at 8:10 I was sitting in Immigrant Visas room holding my ticket (number). I left at 10:40.

I think that every time you fill out one, it gives a new barcode. So you may photocopy your form and that way you will have a duplicate. A new barcode may cause contradiction. Correct me if I am wrong.

Awesome!!! You must be really happy. Congratulations, Laurka!!! When are you planning to leave for the US?

Your experience calms me down a bit. I'm growing nervous by the day. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you! :) I really am! It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders! Suddenly I feel so light! kicking.gif

You should read reviews of the embassy/consulate you'll attend. I wasn't nervous, because of all the positive opinions I heard. The tough part was the waiting in between short consular checks ;)

I plan on leaving in the end of June or beginining of July. I'm going to look at flights later today ;)

Guys, I have a friend who wants an answer:

Did anybody needed a criminal record check from Canada (being outside Canada) for the K1 interview? Is there any possibility to get it faster? Or a faster document that proves the same thing?

Any help is really appreciated!

It is my understanding that you need to submit a police certificate from every country you have lived in for longer than six months (in your entire life). And, depending on the country, it could be a little hassle to get it.

I never heard of another document to replace it. Maybe you should email the entity in charge of issuing such document in Canada and request for an expedited certificate.

Good luck.

I love my Embassy! My interview took place 1 day after I received a packet (still don't know what it was because it didn't contain much) and today, 2 days later, I received a text that my passport is ready for pick up. I have everything in hand now! So happy! The pace after NOA2 is incredible!kicking.gif
