Sent the I-129F in on Sept 5th (after hours, so really 9/6) and after a couple of long weeks I finally received the NOA1 at midnight last night (although it was dated 9/21). It's at the CSC, so hopefully we'll get lucky and have the NOA2 by the end of the year!

I was just about to post that I hadn't received my NOA1 yet after it being received a week ago. Knowing that it took yours two weeks gives me hope that it's going to the CSC!

Well, the tracking says the package has arrived, but what is next?

The next step is NOA1. Our package arrived on thursday, we are still waiting for NOA1 :)

Im actually not sure which center we are filed with. Isnt it automatically based on where you live? So i live in california, thus i would by default be set up with the California Service Center???

From what I know, CSC handles west coast petitions and VSC east coast petitions, depending on where the petitioner lives. From what i've read, when they send NOA1 by mail they give you a case number that starts either with WAC(CSC) or EAC(VSC), and with this case number you can check your status on www.uscis.gov

If Im wrong, someone please correct me :)

This link is helpful https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=SC

HELLO AND WELCOME All I-129F SEPTEMBER,2012 FILERS!

I thought it would be a good idea to start a new topic to share our experience, opinions and thoughts after filing our I-129Fs for K-1 visas.

I hope this thread of conversation helps to shorten the time we need to wait for our visas.

Hope for the best and keep up the conversation! :)
