Getting ready for the interview at UK embassy

Can anyone tell me what they were required to show at their interview? Is a birth certicate necessary? I couldn't see it mentioned on the embassy's list of docs to take. Thanks.

It's the second item on the list, and even has a link for more detailed info. The list is here http://london.usembassy.gov/application_documents.html

Note: That is the UK person's birth certificate. The only thing from the US fiancé is the I-134 affidavit of support packet.

PS---you might want to change your timeline to Vermont or California Service Center. it will give you a truer prediction of when you might expect petition approval. You mailed to the the Texas Lockbox, but the Texas Service Center will not handle your case. Lockbox and Service Center are not the same thing.
