Apologies to anyone who thinks I was trolling with this thread. A little humor to brighten up an otherwise life consuming process cant be bad.

The purpose of my post was to show how important it is to check and re-check everything we send to USCIS and DOS and it is just as important to verify the accuracy of what they send us.

Sorry if anyone was fished in by an attention seeking topic title.

No need to apologize. If you cannot find some humor throughout this long, stressful immigration process, then you might get ulcers or something. That old saying, 'Laughter is the best medicine' did not just come into being out of nowhere.

**Moved to Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits - Apparently the wife is a man and this topic can be better addressed in that forum.

rofl.gif Just kidding, of course!

I had not read this post until now, and I have to thank you all for the laughter! I also have Lola and Dude Looks Like a lady doing a wonderful mash-up in my head kicking.gif

If you all spoke Spanish, I could also refer you to "Estoy Saliendo con un Chabon" (Translates to: I'm dating a dude).

OP, nice try. they will correct the typo.

NO your wife is a woman and a typo does NOT mean she is a Man.

you are giving out false information and seeking attention.

The angle of the dangle is inversely proportional to the heat of the meat.

ROFL, what is this utterly meaningless, totally awesomely mind-numbing, leave me pondering for days rhyming witchcraft! ;)

Actually you can leave the country anytime you like, it's getting back in to the country that is the difficult part.

If you go back and read the original post you'll see that the topic was about an improperly printed greencard. So she has her EAD/AP card and her greencard.

hehe i know the topic is about improperly printed GC, her gender.

but i thought they will check your departure date and the date AP/EAD is issued. I know leaving can be anytime, when you come back you might be in trouble. that's what im wondering. cos I've seen so many posts on people need to leave USA before they were issued an AP/EAD, and people warn these people to be careful cos that's like giving up the whole i-485 application.
