We have just sent off our I-129F to the Dallas Lockbox via U.S.P.S. and sent it using their Certified Mail service (Certified Mail, Return Receipt). Through tracking it via the U.S.P.S. site, it states that "Notice Left (No Authorized Recipient Available)". I'm just a little worried that it's been sent to a near-by Post Office as it couldn't be signed for. Is this the service that the majority of you wonderfully, informative people use or have we made a mistake by sending Certified Mail to a P.O. Box? I notice that on the guide, it advises to send that way so I guess it's worked for others, right?

Welcome to the forum.

You should be fine. We got the same notice. There were no USCIS employees present at that time to sign for acceptance of delivery A USCIS employee will get the (likely numerous) notice(s) and pick up the (likely numerous) package(s) and then take them to the Lockbox facility for sorting and distribution to the respective service centers. Follow the money trail, when they cash the check, you know that they have it. Did you include a Form G-1145, Electronic Notification of Acceptance in your packet? If you did, you (hopefully) will get email/SMS notification of USCIS receipt of your petition. You should also receive your I-797c (NOA1) notice in the mail in a couple of weeks. Read the K-1 flowchart, located in the Guides section, at the top of the forum page, for details.

Then the waiting begins..... :clock:

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

A post office BOX can't sign. The receiving post office doesn't sign for every post box renter that gets mail put in their box. When the renter comes to collect, they can sign the delivery notice. You know from the tracking that it's there along with the notice waiting to be signed.

Thank you very much for your responses. This website is an absolute fountain of knowledge. Yes, we sent off the G-1145 and hopefully everything else in accordance with the guidelines both on here, and as per the USCIS instructions. Touch wood, hopefully, the adjudicator will feel the same and approve us. The waiting begins...
