Do I need to present an original copy of those papers at the time of interview? Or just a copy will do? Thanks!

I had originals of the W-2s and tax transcripts for the interview. However, interview requirements can be embassy-specific. You should check this out at the Phil regional forum.

My gal had copies of my income tax returns and W2 and it was not a problem. However, some people have had IRS transcript copies.

I've sent copies of 2009-2011 Tax Transcripts and 2011 W-2 to my fiance. We wouldn't know until Oct 25 but I think copies will do. Good luck!

just to clarify and get more understanding, Tax Transcripts from IRS is fine and will be good for the interview, and if you Tax Transcripts you don't need 1040 n w2? is that correct?

My wife emailed me the copies of her 1040s and W2s then,

printed them and those were the ones I presented to our interview,

no problem whatsoever,...

Copy is all that the embassy asks for in their letter.

NOA1 Notice Date:May 4th 2011

NOA 2 txt/ email on july 18th 2011

NOA 2 received in Mail July 20th dated July 18th 2011

NOA2 in "74" days!

NO RFE

Personal issue in the Philippines

Medical Exam: March 22nd 2012

Medical Cleared on March 23rd 2012

Interview Date:April 16th, 2012......PASSED

Arrival Los Angeles California: July 7th 2012.

Marriage September 7th 2012 at San Bernardino County Hall of Records

If you still have the opportunity to get IRS tax transcript (free and fast), I would do that. With these you do not need any W2s or 1040.

I didn't send W2 but sent tax transcript. The first Phil guy nearly shoved the transcript back in her face! He only cared about W2.

05/03/2012 - RFE hardcopy received. They are asking for circumstances of meeting and proof of meeting within 2 years.
05/04/2012 - RFE reply sent
05/11/2012 - RFE reply received by CSC
05/21/2012 - NOA2 text and email notification :)
05/24/2012 - NOA2 hardcopy received

NVC Processing
06/25/2012 - I called NVC and got our case number. Visa Fee paid as well.
06/28/2012 - I129F was forwarded to USEM. Interview scheduled.
