My wife had her interview at the U.S. Embassy Manila, Philippines on August 29th,2006.after her interview, they told her it would need further review,it has been 2 months now since she interviewed and still no word from the embassy,can anyone advise what is taking place,this is emotional torture, you would think thwy tell you right away that your approved or denied,has anyone else been through this mike ball mikeball12001@yahoo.com

yep, ours was almost 8 months in "review".. it can last anywhere from a few days to 2 years.

Hope yours is over soon.

04/08/06 Back home (sigh) back to waiting again.

06/15/06 7 months on AP (will this ever end?)

07/06/06 called for second interview (it was a nightmare)

07/14/06 learned our petition was sent back

07/15/06 ready to carry on the fight!!!!

10/17/06 petition is back at USCIS

You would rather they deny it if it's not immediately approvable?

Mike your case is in AR/AP and they are doing some type of investigation for security or validity reasons. You can only wait on them to finish up and then they will contact your wife. Good luck and hopefully it will be over with soon. Our AP was right at 5 months.
