my noa2 came in the mail today and it says that is was forwarded to the consultant. does that mean that it will not go to the NVC?

9/28/2012 Received at Ankara embassy

9/28/2012 Packet 3 received via email

10/2/2012 Packet 3 sent via UPS

10/4/2012 Packet 4 received via email

10/30/2012 Medical

11/6/2012 Interview :)

11/24/2012 POE

11/27/2012 GOT MARRIAGE LICENSE (3 DAY WAIT)

11/28/2012 APPLIED FOR SOCIAL SECURITY

ok. because i looked at some other noa2s and it said that it goes to the NVC.....

Yeah, I know how you feel.

When our came around, I kept asking my now husband.. Does it say anything about NVC or National Visa Center?? eh? eh? eh?

So, yeah. Don't worry about it. It's just different wording blush.gif

Hi I received something similar with ours as well. But it will go to the NVC.

We got ours in the mail today.

States sent to consulate.

On back it is worded:

If the approval was forwarded to the department of state immigrant processing center, that center will contact you.

They need to change the wording, since there is no way I would ASSUME it went to the NVS anyway.

Since the NVS can sit on it, this is important, but then again who does assign the MNL number?
