Do we need to make letter of intent? The same thing that we sent in USCIS and present this as a proof at the time of interview? Is it really needed? My fiancé already mailed me his affidavit of support, ITR, pay stubs, w2, noa1, noa2, letter from NVC etc. . but we didn't know if letter of intent will be needed too. I don't have it yet. I will appreciate ur response guys. Thanks

You need a second letter of intent for the interview, one signed closer to the interview date.

It needs his original signature by the way.

During my interview, the Filipino pre-screener and US Consul did not asked for letter of intent.. I guess it is because my fiance is with me during the interview.. they didn't even asked for photos, chat logs, and other evidences.. noa1, noa2 and nvc letter is not needed as well..

My gal had my complete I-129 petition file with all original documents and/or artwork (photos, documents, etc...), recommended if not required, with her that contained ours, hers and mine, letter of intent and it was never asked for at her interview. Your experience may vary.

Best of luck,

Sid

Look at clause J. on this form http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised%20K1%20Instruction_rtf2.pdf

You should have a letter of intent for both of you recently dated addressed to USEM.

EVIDENCE OF A GENUINE ENGAGEMENT. You must be prepared to prove to the consular officer that you have a genuine relationship with your petitioner and a clear intention to marry within 90 days of admission into the U.S. In the past, successful applicants have submitted photographs, letters, e-mails, phone records, bank records, and remittance records as evidence supporting their relationships and intent to marry.

hello, For us as per advised by friends, We did submit 2 letters of intent when we sent our K1 application, one from me and one signed by him...dates are close to the filing...We just wrote there that we are both at age and free, and willing to get married within 90 days upon arrival to US...so simple...I just followed the guides here...then, you should present another one during the interview plus the affidavit of support, and IRS copy, and recent,at least 3 mos pay stubs...some are lucky for not presenting these stuff, but just be prepared... :)goodluck to all of us...
