Is it possible for a consular officer ask me and my fiancé for a DNA test, well me and My fiancé had an interview, we show up at the ambassy on time. We wait there for like 2 hrs, when they actually called us. The officer asked us every question you could think of. Had my fiancé sign everything, and then look at us and our pics that we had, I am talking tons of pics. She told us that she can't issue us the visa, because me and my fiancé look like we are related. She just rip all the paper that my fiancé already signed and then trash them with a anger, me and her cry just for one reason, just because she just looked at us and discriminate us, by saying that we look like Familly members. Which mean, I am having sex with one of my Familly members. She said we have to take a DNA test to show that we are not related ( lol ). Or if we refused she will terminated the case. We agreed to take the test, and now the test done they take so long to schedule us for an interview. Does anybody has any clue of what's going on?

Well, it appears to me that the consulate is accusing you two of being related. The DNA test will prove you are not.

Do you have the results from the DNA test? DNA tests usually take about 7-10 days to be finalized. You posted this same topic about a week ago.

Wow :wow: I can't believe the embassy would do this just because you have similar features. But then again I can believe it because I've had my share of problems with the Embassy in Haiti. I wish you the best of luck. I hope you hear something very soon. Let me know your outcome. I have a friend in a similar situation in Haiti. God bless.
