I had my medical appointment today in St James at 9am. I arrived at 8:30. I had to fill out a form giving name, date of birth, age, occupation, address and marital status. I waited for an hour before being called to have my weight, height and blood taken. I waited again for another 45 minutes before seeing the doctor. When I entered the doctor's office I was ask to have a seat and answered questions regarding medical history, drug use, medication and allergy. I was ask to look at the sight chart on a wall with which I had to say the letters I saw. The doctor looked into my eyes, mouth and ears. She then listened to my heart and squeeze my tummy in different places asking if i felt any discomfort. She then looked at my immunization card and said I will not be needing any shots because my card is showing I already got all the required shots. This was the end of my physical examination. I return to the reception area to make my payment of $535 and was given an XRay requisition to take to a radiology place in town. Unfortunately I was not told that I had to take along my passport to this radiology office to have the XRay done. I had to get my passport and return to have the Xray done. This was the end of it all. I am now expected to return to the doctor's office next Thursday, to pick up a sealed envelope which contains my results of my medical along with a disc which my XRay is on. I will be expected to take this to the interview. I gave detail information regarding my experience because I want to help those who may have questions relating to the medical experience.
