10-03-2012 : Interview - Approved!
NOA1 to Interview - 138 days.

12-11-2012 : Went to the Social Security office to apply for SSN after it did not arrive.

That is fantastic! Yay! I'm just waiting for NVC to process the IV packet docs (they got them last Monday but haven't reviewed them yet). Hoping to hear some good news this week, and I'll be counting down with you!

hi all, think ive been in wrong forums or just looking at too many lol, im in usa and my husband applied for my daughter living( his stepdaughter obviosly lol )in uk,

i just rang nvc and they said case was complete and just waiting an interview date...

my question is do you think it would be ok to book her a medical within the next few weeks or so or should we wait until she receives the interview date letter in the mail with the medical instuctions,, also as all documents (original as we ordered 2 of everything so she could have one in england ans us here ) were sent to nvc here in usa does she still have to mail in a readiness form, any help would be much appreciated

I would wait for the interview date! no reason to rush the horses when everything is moving forward. :thumbs:

Hi - actually, the UK is a little different. You should have the medical before they set the interview date, and the folks at Knightsbridge will forward the results to the embassy. http://london.usembassy.gov/immigrant-visas/interview.html. My husband had his a couple weeks ago, even though we haven't had an interview date set yet. Hope this helps!

Sorry I meant to say that I would wait until you get a date!not actually the interview itself...I've seen people here jumping the horses and the Medical getting to the Embassy before the Embassy get anything from NVC and the Medical sometimes get lost! So get your date once you have a date just call them and book your app. 2 weeks before the interview is a good time frame!

Hubby's medical is tomorrow (Tuesday)! Then interview Monday morning...wow!! Can't wait for us to finally be complete and together forever!! Looks like I might get him home for good by the birthday on the 25th. Happy birthday to me!!
