If you can get your medical appointment before October 1, you won't need a flu jab. Flu season starts Oct 1, so the shot is waived if you go to Knightsbridge in September.

My interview was scheduled today for Oct 2nd. Going to call tomorrow the Medical centre tomorrow morning to try to get an appointment. What happens if I cannot get an appointment before the interview date? Does there have to a certain number of days between the medical and the interview?

I do believe you should give at least a 7 days gap in between...but you should be okay for the interview!!

Keep calling Knightsbridge and ask for cancellations. If the results dont get to the embassy in time, they will approve your visa (if they plan to based on everything else) once the results are in.

ok thanks. So there is no need to reschedule my interview if I cant get the medical?

No...they should be able to allocate you by the date of your interview and remember that we have 2 clinics in London!

I have an interview date, too! 18th October. I actually had my medical in August... Does anyone know if I now need to go and get the flu shot as my interview is in flu season?!

For what Nich-Nick just said in a few posts before yours No...you don't have to!
