Hello everybody! Well my fiancee (now wife) and new daughter made it here to the USA and since then we have married. We already have a social security card for my wife but was before we got married are going back to change the name on the card being she has my last name now. As for the daughter we couldn't get a Social security card for her they said i had to fill out a I-766need one for tax time. The question is how can i get/give my new daughter my last name? At the moment she doesn't even have her mothers last name it's her middle that is her mother's last name. So do i have to do the AOS for both and then can i change her name then or can i adopt her and do it all at the same time? Trying to save money and time has anybody been threw this? about the social security card and maybe wanting to have the child have your last name? Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

for a k-2, can apply for SSN after have either EAD or Greencard in hand.
