Hello all,

Getting ready to prepare my Forms and Packet and wanted to re-confirm couple of things ( I tripled checked and read too many :)) better safe then sorry!

On I129 Form-question 10 is still confusing to me. I was not born in USA but gained Citizenship in 2001. For what I understand I need to copy all pages of my passport and submit with this form to the back of it. Question is what do I fill in the spaces since its a three part answers? How to fill that out?

Question on G325 Form is we already filled it out and she is sending me signed forms. Aside from passport photos and signed letter of intent to marry is there anything else needed from her side at the moment? DO the dates matter on when they are signed?

Question on G325 Form for me. I was unemployed between 2007 and 2009. I know it states on the questions to list 5 years back. Is it ok to list previous employment prior to those five years?

From all of your experiences is it better to type in the forms or write them your hand?

I want to thank you all for the future feedback and look forward learning more things along with you,

I will have couple of more but for know this is self explanatory for what I can see.

Hi! My now husband is an american citizen through naturalization. He added not only A copy of his entire passport but also a copy of his naturalization doc. Basically, this package it's all about you. Then, for her interview, most of documents and paperwork require by the embassy, comes from her. Remember that you have to submmit passport pictures for every G325 and signed on the back of the photo! BtW use your computer to fill the forms! NEVER by hand, obviously, your signature must be written by hand. Visa journey has an entire document about how to avoid the infamous RFE (Requesting for evidence) which basically means, you did something wrong and now your process is delate it until you fix what u did. Most of the RFE are for simple stuff like unsigned forms, no passport pictures with the g325, payments with the wrong fee, and one of the most important: lack of evidence of a bonafide relationship. You dont have to send a hundred pictures, with 5 or 10 should be ok, they should be from different ocassions, and not only the 2 of you. I send pictures with family and friends from both sides. Remember to write in the back of every photo: date, people on the pics and place. I also sent copy of hotel receipts, phone bills, boarding passes, passport stamps, some emails, letters and cards. And with that you should be ok. In my case, we never recieved an rfe and I was approved in 3 month and 23 days which is a really good mark! Hope to be helpful to you guys. Good luck and welcome to this journey! P.d: patient is the key

Its sounds like you have everything needed from her for the packet. Just as long as the signed date isnt too far back it shouldnt be an issue.

Im on my phone so I cant see what country your fiance is from but for instance mine is Nigeria and based on what everyone is saying here 5-10 pictures wouldnt really cut it during the interview. I think I sent like 25.

Question 18 I wrote one page. To paint the picture of our relationship, so I started with how we originally met ( briefly) then I wrote about our meeting again within the past 2 years. It was pretty brief to the point but gave enough (not every single) detail.

Mine was like this: we orignally met as kids in_____. He was friends with my cousins. He liked me, but didnt want to get in trouble if he told me by his dad. Then I mentioned we hung out years later but nothing romantic happened till we started chatting frequently online.

Then we were reunited on this date in ---- where he asked me if I would be his wife.

Thanks all. I understand all of that. My only concern is for the question 10 and what to put there or do I even need to put anything in the fields. Another thing I just came across is that I renewed my passport in 2010. Since I have been overseas 7 times already since 2010 is that enough evidence on the passport or should I request that proof from the old passport. Since it was stamped with my visit as well.

Thanks all getting close on putting everything together,

Regards,

Check naturalization, and give the certificate number. If it was through your parents, then check that box and mark yes or no for having a certificate in your name.

Question on G325 Form is we already filled it out and she is sending me signed forms. Aside from passport photos and signed letter of intent to marry is there anything else needed from her side at the moment? DO the dates matter on when they are signed?

That is all you need from her. The G-325A and letter of intent both with original signatures and a 2x2 inch passport photo of her. If they are signed fairly recently, it is fine.

Question on G325 Form for me. I was unemployed between 2007 and 2009. I know it states on the questions to list 5 years back. Is it ok to list previous employment prior to those five years?

Just start at 2007.

From all of your experiences is it better to type in the forms or write them your hand?

You can type, legibly hand-write them, or a combination of both. The response above that said you can never write them by hand is incorrect. Lots of people hand-write some answers so they will fit in the space. No problem at all.

Forgot to mention famous question 18? :) What are your stories? Do I literally write every single details. I can :)

#18 is to list a brief detail of your last face-to-face meeting. You can just put you met on {date here} and {where and how you met} and then list about your visit together giving the place and date details. It does not have to be a long story. Lots of people fit it into the space provided on the form.

You only need evidence of meeting face-to-face within the 2 years prior to filing the I-129F petition. Save the copies of your old passport stamps as evidence of your ongoing relationship for the K-1 visa interview.

I got the question 10 answered by representatives at UCIS. Thanks,

Aside from that on i129F form question 8B I heard a lot of people put none n/a and some do put their Alien # with 9 digits?

Should I include it or not?

Thanks,

I have seen mixed answers to this. Since you are a USC now, the A# became irrelevant. However, they still put a space for it on a form that can only be filed by a USC. I think N/A or putting your old A# would both be fine.
