Ok I looked at the board today and it went form 3 three of us having interviews to five and mine is not posted,is the 19th of October. Anyway just wanted to ask how is everyone doing?? Anyone nervous, anxious?? I'm nervous as He**. I don't know if my Kingsley is ready.. He is such a laid back, calm talker. I practice with him, his answers are correct but lack.. hmmm emotion or like uniqueness, like the answers could be for anyone and not personal ...I guess that's what I'm trying to say.. He speaks english very well, but says we Americans talk so fast(lol we talk fast??), it's hard to understand sometimes, he is hoping for an Nigerian officer..

So any suggestions?? Does that even matter? I have sent everything I can think of.. I won't able to be there ,that's why I made sure to be there this July and Aug. before work started back up. So we have some more evidence to show. How many of you are going with your fiancee to the interview? Well just checking in hoping to get some, tips, support, feedback , prayers ... all the above. God's favor to us all!!

peace,

Chi

Congrats on your husband upcoming interview! Seems like he made the october date right? Well, from the description of your fiance being such a laid back person and good command of english language, that's a positive step to answering all the questions that might be asked. If there's a question he doesn't really understand, he should ask the co to repeat that question. He has to grow this confident and try as much as possible to stay calm all through and he will be successful with his interview. Nothing to worry about ok. My prayer is with you sister God bless you

I don’t know if the officers look so much into emotions as they do evidence and quality of answers. They know the interviewees are going to be nervous and most people don’t want to get their hopes up in case of a negative outcome. So I would just have your fiancé focus on the questions at hand, be polite, smile, and be the best he can be at the interview. It’s helpful to have all of the information organized for your fiancé so he can find the documents they ask for in a timely manner. I sent my fiancé a ton of documents for the interview and labeled everything so he could find what he needed. I didn’t go to the interview with him. They wouldn’t allow fiancées to be present during the interview.

can I please request that if you are planning to do a consult review after your interview please dont just say " He/she went to the interview it went well." finish. That is not in anyway shape of form helpful and could just be posted in the normal forums. Thank you in advance

Well at least Kingsley speaks English well. My Fiancee has limited English knowledge but she's so cute with that Nigerian bold face thing of trying to pretend that she understands. I have been coaching her to please ask for an interpreter and to not answer the question if she doesn't know it and ask for clarification.

She'll be okay though and yours will be too. We are a few days after you.

It makes no sense for me to go if they won't let me in but we'll see. I've been seeing tickets for ~$1,000 on United so we'll see.

I'm actually comfortable now and I've actually backed of off grilling her with Q&A sessions so that she can relax a bit. She knows all my stuff like where I work, where I live, my kids names. my Ex wives (yes I have two of them - lol) names, our engagement date, my trips to Nigeria, how we met, names of my siblings whom she has all met.

I am confident of a successful interview. I have done the prep work and the Star of David shines the way ahead "He will merit to bestow a bountiful gift on anyone who grasps the Shield of David.".

Confidence confidence..... If he knows you very well, he needs to prove to them that he is in love with you by what and how he answers his questions. Again, It's not all about getting the right answer,....feelings, emotions, he has to show it all..... Goodluck

Thanks.

I couldn't proceed with self appointment because I still haven't received her passport info.

So others after us will have to prove that for us. I know they self schedule in the Philippines.

GO and succeed. The only thing you need to ask for is just Divine favor.Wether you are or not makes no difference since you will not be allowed in.Pray and believe.I had the experience few months ago.The questions aint tough but majority of us are always on pressure and that leads to so many things cos even the CO can feel the pressure in some of us.Like my own case then i couldn't remember my fiancee address back then but have answered alot of questions ahead so he understands he could be pressure and went ahead and approve me visa
