nothing yet and I don't know what to do at this point, NVC told me that they are still waiting fot an appointment from the embassy in El Salvador, what are this people doing!

I was told to wait for something the first two weeks in October, so we'll see.

How is everying with you, anything yet?

Same #### different day. Been told, every day now for the past 4 days, that they're waiting on El Salvador. I've called the US # for the consulate and they can't tell me anything. IDK ####### is going on but I'm happy to see I'm not the ONLY one affected by this BS. Literally every other country has their #### together except ours. I mean #######.

the embassy in El Salvador is a complete nightmare!- I have a cousin that went throught hell with them and I will write a review for him based on his experience, unfortunately for all the people waiting for interviews and visas, the people that work there are inefficient and incompetent; 4 interviews later and a ton of phone calls and money spent, he finally got his visa.

We have to keep calling NVC so they can get on their case, I mean this is rediculous!

I sent an email to NVC yesterday requesting status; if they don't respond by Friday, I will call, did you call them?

I did -- they say "ma'am, we schedule all embassies at the same time. We're still scheduling for November." :/

I guess if they were booked they'd let us know, right???

Latest update Jose: I spoke to a supervisor today who said they're wrapping up scheduling this week.

So this means that by tomorrow or Friday, we should hear something... I am assuming all interviews they are sending are for the month of November only.

Yeah. There should be NO WAY you don't get one as your case was done Over a month ago. However, if one or both doesn't hear then its off to December we go :/

I'm so confused by your case though. Did you call and they told you your case was complete? When was it completed? Did they recently tell you it's in the queue?

I'm so confused by your case though. Did you call and they told you your case was complete? When was it completed? Did they recently tell you it's in the queue?

The documentation was sent to the embassy on August 28 and received the 31st, the first week of September I received the email from NVC stating that the case had been completed and that they were just waiting for an interview date from the embassy. I am so frustrated at this point, this is just dragging and I don't know what to do!

I just sent an email to the consulate, this is just ridiculous, my case was completed over a month ago, I should have the interview date by now. Do you have any other contacts I can tap into?
