received email and txt from USCIS

I just received a text message and email from USCIS indicating the receipt of my 130 package. They said my packet was sent to the california service center to be processed. I live in texas, why would it be sent to california? is that part of the changes they made earlier in the year with teh two lockbox changes?

there be real-time load balancing, so if WAC has a lighter load, it goes there instead of EAC.

I live in Texas and mine was sent to CSC as well back in 12/2011. So this is not something new.

gotcha - I was wondering about that. It makes sense to route for balancing. I hope it goes fast enough! the site is saying 5 months :/

CSC has been cranking them out 3 months or less. So here's hoping for a speedy return for you.

Yep nothing scientific I'm afraid just been following the post of good news. However everyone is in agreement VSC is soooooooooooo slow. So hopefully things will be fast.

Things have kind of been quiet lately however at CSC since the August 15th Dferred filling. But still miles ahead of VSC. So here's praying for a quick adjudication for you.

Thanks ! that looks good, i'll start snooping around there and get additional information on the next phase. The 130 packet took a while to get together so i wana make sure i get everything in as soon as i can.

yes, CSC is pretty fast compare to VSC at least till today.

Just to give you a previous track record, CSC got slow last year starting from August, 2011 till February, 2012. It's really hard to predict when they get slow or fast because it really depends on how many applications they get each month in their office. Let's hope things remain smooth as-is in future.

Be glad your at CSC ours was approved in less than 3 months. My heart goes out to the Vermont filers. USCIS should really do something to even out the workload.
